Attention Pastors: You are invited to participate in this 3-part series

When an individual completes suicide, ramifications reverberate out for families, churches, and the wider community, too. Clergy and faith communities can play an important role in talking about and helping prevent suicides. This workshop will focus on the warning signs of someone who may be thinking about suicide and what to do if you identify them. It also considers how to create a culture of suicide prevention within congregations. This workshop is designed for clergy, congregational members, and anyone who wants to learn more about steps to take to

help prevent suicides.

You have colleagues, congregation members and family members that are struggling with thoughts of suicide.

Guest presenter:  Mark Sundby, M.Div., Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist, United Methodist minister, and faculty member at St. Olaf College. For 20 years, he has also served as executive director of LeaderWise, which offers psychological services to clergy, congregations, and denominations.
